The mobile version of the role-playing game Honkai: Star Rail has earned over $32 million in the Chinese AppStore 12 days after its release.

A side note: Honkai: Star Rail beat Genshin Impact in revenue per day

Remarkably, this figure refers only to revenues generated exclusively in the Chinese gaming market, which is 36% of the project’s total revenues. In total, the game brought in more than $50 million across all regions, with Japan (25%) and the US (15%) leading the way after China.

The number of downloads at the time of writing has exceeded 10 million, which is an unbelievable figure. Only time will tell if Honkai: Star Rail will be able to break all records of Genshin Impact (by the way, both games were developed by miHoYo Games).

Honkai: Star Rail has earned

Notably, thanks to the release of Honkai: Star Rail, miHoYo was able to take second place in the April top list of the most successful game publishers by App Store revenue in China, behind only Tencent. As Sensor Tower analysts report, the developer’s revenue has increased by 45% compared to March.
