Tactical shooter Rainbow Six Mobile has not yet been released but has attracted numerous gamers. According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, the Android version of the game alone has garnered 17 million pre-registrations.
Rainbow Six Mobile is partly an adaptation of Rainbow Six Siege for mobile devices. Despite the similarities, the mobile game is built entirely from scratch. It features a different control system and shorter matches.
Ubisoft announced Rainbow Six in April 2022. This August, the company launched the game in a soft launch in Canada on iOS and Android, and in early September, the shooter made its way to Mexico. It’s still unknown exactly when Rainbow Six Mobile will head to release, but Ubisoft reports it will be before March 31, 2024.
