Voodoo announced a new competition that gives candidates the opportunity to win the largest prize pool offered by a publisher.

Voodoo, the world’s number one mobile game publisher in terms of downloads, has announced its new fall contest open to all studios around the world.

A competition to support studios in the creation and launch of their next hyper-casual hit kicks off on October 7, giving participants the opportunity to move their ideas and prototypes onto the mobile app charts faster than ever before.

Voodoo will provide members with access to market research and broadcasts to help them create and develop their prototypes.

The number of prizes is unlimited, which means that participants can submit multiple prototypes to win multiple prizes. Prizes offered include:

  • First Prize – $1 Million, Minimum Warranty – for all games with more than 5 million downloads on iOS in the US within the first four months of a full launch.
  • Second prize – USD 200,000, minimum guarantee – for any game launched and confirmed during or as a result of the competition.
  • Third Prize – $10,000 – for all games with a $0.20 install price and 30% D1 retention on Android or $0.30 per install and 30% D1 on iOS.
  • Referral Prize – $50,000 – for referring a studio with a confirmed popular game during or after the competition.

Voodoo will host a kick-off webinar for all participants at 15:00 CET on October 7, ahead of the competition period from October 10 to December 10, marking the longest competition window in Voodoo history.
