Minecraft has a new achievement. During the Minecraft Live 2023 presentation, Mojang Studios announced that sales of the game have surpassed 300 million copies.

Since April 2021, when Mojang last revealed the game’s figures, sales have increased by 62 million copies.

The game is supposedly now the best-selling game in history. By comparison, the second place in the top is occupied by GTA V, which has sales of over 185 million copies. Perhaps Mine is second in sales to Tetris, but the circulation of that game cannot be estimated accurately.
