An Australian company Halfbrick has announced new projects as well as a second life for its old iconic games at Halfbrick Beyond 2023 on 23 January.

Known for its iconic mobile games Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, the company has unveiled new updates at Halfbrick Beyond 2023, that players can look forward to in Fish Out Of Water and Age Of Zombies. Essentially, these will be a remaster of sorts for these popular mobile games using a more modern engine. It will bring new graphics and visual effects to the projects, as well as some changes to the gameplay functionality. At the moment, these games are not available for download on the official platforms.

Other exciting updates from Halfbrick Beyond 2023 include a planned animated series about the Jetpack Joyride and Dan the Man universes. These will help reveal more of the games’ lore, and making a film or cartoon is becoming a very lucrative and popular activity at the moment. The Dan the Man cartoon will be released in May, and in addition to that, a long-awaited sequel awaits release in the summer, where fans can expect to meet a mysterious new character and also immerse themselves in the pixelated art vibe of the game that players have come to know and love from the franchise.
