Plarium, a global leader in mobile and PC game development and publishing with more than 435 million users worldwide, has announced the appointment of Schraga Mor as CEO.
A seasoned business leader with more than 20 years of experience in technology, digital, and e-commerce, Schraga joins Plarium from SodaStream, where he led the company’s global e-commerce strategy and operations since 2020. He previously served as CEO of MSN Israel and ICQ and was managing director of William Hill’s online gambling business, based in Tel Aviv.
Schraga has a proven track record of building and scaling successful multi-million dollar companies and brands focused on mobile devices. Mor succeeds Aviram Steinhart, who stepped down after more than eight years with the company, two of which he served as CEO.
In 2018, the company released RAID: Shadow Legends, which is currently ranked number one in the Squad RPG category and has generated over $1 billion in lifetime revenue. The company successfully entered the Action genre with the release of Mech Arena in 2021 and expanded its PC platform, Plarium Play, which brings in about 30% of Plarium’s total revenue.

Mor, who holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ruppin Academic Center, will take over as CEO at the end of February 2023 and will work at the company’s headquarters in Herzliya, where the company recently opened its new state-of-the-art office.
