Indian game company Kratos Studios has received $20 million in investment in a new seed round to create Web3 games. The round was led by Accel with participation from Prosus Ventures, Courtside Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, Jet Ventures and Nazara Technologies. In parallel, the company acquired standalone Web3 studio IndiGG.

Kratos Studios plans to use the funds to build operations in IndiGG, which include a tech stack, distribution, brand and a large community of gamers. In addition, the studio will also invest in finding and developing the most promising Web3 games worldwide. Kratos representatives will work closely with Polygon to accomplish the mission of building the largest Web3 gaming community in the world.

The company has plans for further expansion in South Asia, which could turn it into the next multi-billion dollar web3 start-up. Kratos Studios is currently valued at $150 million.
