About Hogwarts Legacy and why it’s been awaited for so long

There are millions of Harry Potter fans around the world. The books by J.K. Rowling that set the stage for the boy wizard universe and the excellent films are still stirring minds around the globe. There have been attempts to create games related to this lore, but they almost always end in failure, to say the least. The latter is worth a closer look.

The uniqueness of Potteriana and the incredible involvement of people in the media space has constantly led to the idea that games about Harry Potter should be. And they were, but hardly anyone remembers them: the quality was poor, even at the time, and the desire to stay for a long time was clearly not added to these projects. However, in September 2020, Warner Bros. announced a game that was expected even by those gamers for whom the Harry Potter lore is not familiar at all.

The game’s plot covers the events that took place long before the events of the original Harry Potter series, but most of the locations and some of the characters were taken from the books. The result, upon first impression, is an excellent RPG: there are customisation, monsters, magic, and a rather interesting combat system and morality.

In general, a full immersion and familiarity with the world to how it became to us in the books or the Harry Potter films is definitely guaranteed.
