App Annie, a leading mobile data and analytics provider, has released a report entitled “Mobile Gaming Review: Building a Successful Mobile Gaming Strategy and Roadmap“. App Annie’s Game IQ is based on invaluable market metrics for total downloads, consumer spending, and engagement.

According to the report, mobile games set a target of $ 120 billion in consumer spending by the end of 2021. Consumers have downloaded 14.3 billion downloads on iOS and Google Play.

3.6 billion downloads were for hyper-casual games, making this the most successful quarter to date!
