Venturebeat reports that mobile game analytics platform ByteBrew has raised $4 million in a seed round of funding. The company is using the funds to grow its team and provide tools for game developers looking to expand.

The round, led by Konvoy, also included venture capital firm Valhalla Ventures, Node Ventures, and angel investors.

The company was founded by brothers Cameron Hozouri and Kian Hozouri, who are CEO and COO, respectively. The company originated in San Diego. The SDK and platform offer developers real-time analytics, monetization tracking, and ad attribution measurement.

ByteBrew was created to redefine what is considered the industry standard for game developers. Authors stop paying for expensive services with complex integrations that leave data isolated across multiple segmented platforms.

ByteBrew analyzed more than 600 billion user events in July of this year alone. The company’s live-op products allow for remote customization and testing without updating the app in marketplaces.

Last year, the platform launched an open beta that attracted more than 1,000 developers. By January 2022, when the company announced Push Notifications, the number of game developers using the company’s services had more than doubled to 2,500. Today, there are 5,000 developers on the platform.

It’s incredible to see what Cameron and Kian have accomplished since launching ByteBrew, which has changed the way mobile game developers work. It’s exciting to think about what the platform will achieve with a large team behind it, and how the company will inevitably become an industry leader in the mobile game analytics vertical for years to come.
